Together, we can make a difference in somebody's life.
Celebrate special occasions/birthdays/anniversaries by giving to AGMS ® foundation in order to help to change someone's life.
As a fund-raiser you can do anything to turn it into an activity that can raise money for AGMS ® foundation.
For example –
# if you love dancing, you can organize a show,
# if you love fashion, you can organize a fashion show or have a dress down at work
# organize fund-raising walks or cycling events or baking sales to raise money for AGMS ® foundation.
Volunteering enables you to be part of the community and gives you the opportunity to participate in projects, which you otherwise might never get the chance to experience.
Through volunteering you can learn and acquire new skills and it leaves you with the sense of achievement and you experience the pleasure that comes from making a difference in people's lives.
We encourage the enthusiasm and ambition of our volunteers so that together we can make a difference to the lives of others.
AGMS ® foundation is always grateful for donations and gifts that are left by people in their Wills. These come in all shapes and sizes, big and small - from 1% of an estate to 100% or anything left over after other gifts have been made. These gratefully received gifts are used to support disadvantaged people both in the UK and abroad who are affected by many different issues from poverty, illnesses, and homelessness to anything else where we can help. We do our best to support people of all ages and all walks of life. Even a small gift will help us to help someone who is in desperate need.
Here's what to do….
The first step is to work out what you've got. Write down everything you own - including savings, possessions, property and its approximate total value. The second step is to note down the names of the people you want to include in your Will, normally your family and friends. Cross reference the two lists so that you know who gets what and you're ready to make an appointment with your solicitor. If you prefer, we can assist you in this process because leaving a gift is an important decision that doesn't have to be overly complicated. We have information, support and advice available to make the whole process as easy as possible. Contact us by email when writing your Will, make sure you state that you want to leave a gift to AGMS ® foundation, name us and include our UK Charity number (1122354) to make sure your gift goes to the right place.
By making a Will you are making sure that your gifts go to where you want them to go – including the charities you support.
Sum of money (Pecuniary Legacy): If you want to leave a lump sum to AGMS ® foundation, you specify this amount in your Will.
Share of your estate (Residuary Legacy): Once you've worked out what you're leaving to family and friends, you can donate a share, or all of what's left to AGMS ® foundation.
Specific item: Any item that you think will be of some value to our work when sold.
By leaving a gift to AGMS ® foundation in your Will, you will be making a positive impact on generations to come affecting everyone from the very young to the elderly and everyone in-between. Your gift will empower us to help more people both at home and overseas, people who have no other hope or chance of being helped to be lifted from their dire situations. You will be helping us to reach more people and to have a bigger effect for the benefit of others.
Lastly, thank you from us at AGMS ® foundation and all those who will benefit from your generosity which will continue to help generations to come…
